Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Thank you Yelp Charleston for guiding me to this gem in Mt. Pleasant. I was recently on a business trip to the area, and loved my time here so much that I came twice in a week. The only uncertainty at Finn's is the service, which is why I held back a star. The first night I came, I sat outside to enjoy their beautiful outdoor covered patio, and the service was very slow, and highly lacking. The next time, I sat inside, and our server was extremely friendly, and my experience was night and day different. For a food sensitive person, the menu is a gem. They have gluten free pizza, sandwiches, and pasta. The first night, I was curious and tried the oven baked pesto wings, with a half sized Finn's Greens salad. For a pizza place, the salad and wings were delicious! The second night I had a gluten free pizza, and the crust was not the greatest, the typical frozen soy and rice combo, but it held together, and the fresh quality toppings made you forget all about the less than desirable crust. They also let us order different toppings for each half of the pizza, so we could try something a bit different. My friend had the thin crust, but could have also chosen a hand tossed crust option (she also loved her pizza). You can make your own pizza, or choose from their unique selections which focus on a EVOO base (extra virgin olive oil) vs. the typical marinara pizza sauce. For drinks, they have a full bar, and a selection of wines and craft beers on tap. The happy hour deals are good. If you have room after all the food, they do have some dessert options. The gluten free chocolate torte was sinfully intensely dark and dense, that it lasted for a couple of nights, because after a couple of yummy bites you are done. For those that live in the area and have furry babies, the patio is dog friendly, and they even have a water bowl, and offer dog treats.

This neighborhood gem is located in a corner storefront in the heart of Belle Hall Station overlooking a retaining pond. There's lots of outdoor seating with but we opted to dine inside due to the high temp and humidity. While the regular menu is crammed with apps, soups, salads, subs and pasta, etc., today's visit was all about Restaurant Week and the brick oven pizza. We were warmly greeted, seated at a comfortable booth in front of the glass facade and was quickly approached by our friendly server who explained the Restaurant Week deal ... $ 30 for 2 people including a choice of one of three appetizers (for sharing) and a choice of two 12" pizzas, served on either a hand tossed, or thin and crispy dough. (Not an easy choice as 14 were offered ... and each looked wonderful!) We started with our happy hour beverages ... a glass of the house red and a vodka tonic; each, only $3.00 a glass. (This is not a typo.) Three dips were offered as a starter - the first two were eliminated very quickly: jalapeño cilantro hummus dip (nope ... I hate cilantro ... it tastes like soap) and spinach artichoke (nope ... spinach causes a negative interaction with one of my hub's meds ... so, pimento cheese was the dip we selected. It arrived, nicely plated, served in a big mound accompanied by tons of crunchy tortilla chips and was actually quite good; however, I would have preferred sharing a simple Caesar knowing what was coming next. My hub actually smiled when his hand tossed Sicilian BMT arrived ... so many slices of very, very tasty house made meatballs, sausage, salami and pepperoni and tons of gooey mozzarella and fontina ... there was no room for veggies ... lol.). Frankly, I was quite full after I polished off most of the dip and chips, but it was hard not to oogle and eat a few slices of my pizza, the Max, prepared on a thin and crispy dough. It was loaded with everything that I love ... gooey mozzarella, prosciutto, bacon, red and green peppers, banana peppers and juicy kalamata olives. We really enjoyed the house vibe (not to mention our proximity to a large TV) and plan to return real soon to check out other signature pizzas and take advantage of 1/2 priced happy hour apps and $3 house beverages. If you live in Mount Pleasant, be sure to put Finn's on your radar. You'll be pleased!

I was disappointed when I heard that Brixx Oven Pizza was no longer open but I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with Finn's Brick Oven! Dare I say that I even like them more than the old Brixx? The inside seemed to have been spruced up a little bit and I don't believe I recognized many of the old staff. With that said, the service was much better than before. We were greeted and seated right away and our server was very polite and attentive. We decided on the Finn's White and wow was it delicious. Great combination of cheeses and toppings including bacon and broccoli raab. I love how there is an option for the crust thickness as well, hand tossed or thin. We personally love thin. My only negative comment really is that although the place looked a lot cleaner, the menus were quite filthy, easy fix. Overall, I'm happy that although Brixx is no more, Finn's delivers a pizza that is just as good if better than before.

The Finns white pizza made with the margarita pizza sauce was exceptional! I'll go back for this for sure! The margarita pizza was fine but initially came out with no sauce. Waitress was ok (no personality) like she was on Valium or something.

I really, really like this place! It's in the Belle Hall shopping center right in front of my apartment community, so yes, proximity to me helps with liking it so much. Laura and I have been here several times and have even picked up food to go from here a good bit. Each time the food quality has been top notch and very impressive. They do a happy hour where all appetizers are half price along with some drink specials too boot. The people working here are pretty nice too. That's always a plus in a city known for hospitality. Try the wood fired roasted wings. You won't be disappointed.

Finn's is a hidden gem in Mount Pleasant serving up really delicious wood-fire pizzas with a ton of ingredient options and really great specials. One of the best-kept secrets around, Finn's has Buy-One-Get-One free pizzas every day after 9 p.m., making it the perfect spot to grab a late dinner with a friend. Pizza-wise, you can choose from one of "Finn's Favorite" creations, like the Buffalo Chicken, Smoky BBQ or Club, with the option to make your crust thick, crispy and even gluten-free. Pizza's are priced around $13-15 each and are around 12 inches, making them just large enough to share with a friend or order for yourself depending on how hungry you are. You can also choose to create your own Pizza for a base price of $9, with a create-your-own Pasta option also available for the same amount. Must-order items: Bread Knots Chicken Cordon Bleu Pizza Buffalo Chicken Pizza

We always enjoyed Brixx, but when it closed a couple of months ago, it was just a shadow of what it used to be. The new Finns is like the old Brixx. Really good pizza! They have one of the best outdoor patios in Mt. Pleasant. It's so nice to sit outdoors here and enjoy the pond with all of its turtles and birds. The menu is similar but better than the old Brixx. Brixx was a chain and Finns is not, so that may explain the difference. There are pizza choices to satisfy everyone. And they offer thin crust or a thicker hand tossed crust. Finally, they serve wonderful iced tea in a glass, not a hard plastic cup and it is priced at a reasonable two dollars.

First time here and very surprise to see just a few reviews. I was impressed with this place; great pizza, outstanding customer service and relax atmosphere. I ordered the max pizza with a thin crust and it was delicious. This place reminds me of a chain in South Florida called Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza; fresh and tasty ingredients with a well balanced crust. I'll be back!

Bad, pizza is not like old place called Brixx. I ordered a pesto pizza, could not tell pesto sauce was on it. The gluten free crust on girlfriends pizza was horrible . Wait staff was like drifty and not interested in customers. This was on a Friday night. Will not go back. Money waisted Please don't think all the better reviews are true, some folks don't know about what taste good.

I had the Pesto linguini. When I asked where the shrimp was sourced from to put on the pasta, they said U.S. Foods. But the menu says they attempt to source everything locally so I was disappointed. Didn't finish pasta and didn't want to take it home. I also tried the Thai pizza and caesar and thought they were very mediocre. I loved Brixx but I don't plan on eating at Finns again anytime soon.

Awesome pizza, definitely the best Hawaiian pizza I've ever had, the fresh prosciutto made the pizza. Good craft and local beer selection. Worth the drive over from West Ashley. Will be back.

Pretty nice place and we enjoyed ourselves. Nice selection of beer on tap; probably about 20 or so quality beers with a nice wide variety. The service was excellent - everything came out quickly for us and our server, Iris, was working hard taking care of several tables. The three of us has a thin crust pizza, soup & salad and a calzone. All portions were generous, delicious and nicely priced. The downsides: fairly limited menu - only pizza, pastas, soups and salads; and the acoustics weren't good for me. Maybe just me and my old ears, but things seemed to echo quite a bit. Will try it again when in the area.

Ate lunch here on a weekday, not crowded. I had the Club Pizza. DELICIOUS. I will definitely go back! The crust was the best part, light and tasty.

Do not miss Brixx's at all! We ordered several pizzas all were loved and tasty. Each pizza was loaded with topping nothing sparse. My favorite was the white pizza. The crust was nice and crispy. Service was wonderful. Great local beer selection. Will be back very soon.

I had bread knots & pizza there last night. Great little place. Service was great. Pizza was very good. Wood fired brick oven. Crust was light, thin, & crispy. Just the way we like it. Ingredients were fresh and of the right proportions. Best deal is after 9pm the pizzas are buy 1 get 1 free. Dine in only. Patio is very nice by the pond until all the frogs start croaking! Ducks will walk up to you and ask for a handout but not bothersome.

Went to Finn's the other night with a few friends and ordered one of their pizzas, the Med. It was great with very fresh dough and ingredients! Great service and wide options of pizza too. A great option is the build your own which does include gluten free dough! Definitely going back for more and excited to try other pizza options!

Finns is great and the Korean pizza is amazing. Terrific service and my young daughters had fun and enjoyed being outside and listening to live music. Great selection of draft beers. We will be back!

Fantastic pizza and salad! The service was excellent too! I definitely recommend that you try it out- you will not be disappointed. I love how you can build your own pizza- there are a bunch of toppings available to select.

This was a horrible dining experience! I called ahead to see if they had half price wine bottles on Sunday night and was told they did. So we went. I asked the server for a wine list. They had none. The bartender quickly scribbled on a slip of paper the wines they had - but no prices. So I asked the waiter to get prices from the bartender, since I needed to know what I'm in for...He returns with some prices scribbled in the margin by each wine. I asked if this was the regular price or the half price. He had to go back to the bartender and ask. He came back and told us that it was the regular price, so that our price tonight would be half that. So the tab comes....the wine was charged at full price. I told the waiter there must have been a mistake and asked him to correct it. Ten minutes later, out comes the OWNER - Andrew - carrying our tab in his hand. He informed us that the price the bartender had told us was the half price, so our tab would go unchanged. Then he walked away. He should have, of course, given us the wine at the price quoted by the server and the bartender, but he wasn't budging. Oh, there's more..our pizzas took a long time to come out. The waiter apologized, saying that the kitchen had "forgotten" to cook my pizza. I told him to go ahead and serve my husband his pizza so it wouldn't get cold. He said, "No worries, it's fine under the warmer." (Great idea...)So, my husband ordered a salad while we waited. No one even suggested comping the salad even though the kitchen had "forgotten" to cook my pizza. Incredible! I will never go back to this place. I was livid that the owner thought it was OK to charge us twice what we were quoted on the bottle of wine. He has NO customer service ability AT ALL.
